Northern Indiana
CarePortal is an online platform that brings practical needs of vulnerable children and families in the community to the attention of churches and other community partners. Gospel City is a connecting church with CarePortal, in partnership with Josiah White’s, working to meet the needs of these families in our surrounding community alongside other local churches.
Ways to Pray
- That more people in our church would answer the call to go—becoming Responders, and being the hands and feet of Jesus to our community in a very practical way
- The case workers intaking and assessing requests would have wisdom and discernment in understanding each family’s needs
- For the families that they could experience hope and feel the love of Jesus through their interactions with our Responders
Ways to Go
- Be A Resource Responder—Purchase items from the Amazon Wishlist to be delivered by a volunteer Responder to families in need
- Be A Relational Responder—Connect directly with families in our area to deliver/assemble needed items and make a meaningful connection through a conversation and prayer
